As the owner of Animal MAGNAtism LLC, I am driven by a deep passion for animals and a dedication to honoring the legacy of my mother—a pioneer as the first female Animal Control Officer for Washington County in the late '70s. Her unwavering love for animals inspired me to dedicate this company to her memory and continue her mission of advocating for their well-being.
My journey into the world of animal wellness and healing began with a childhood immersed in farm life, fostering a profound connection with animals. Although my initial dream was to become a veterinarian, life led me to a successful career in finance, spanning many fulfilling years across various cities in North America and Europe. Eight of these transformative years were spent living and working in the Netherlands, where I rediscovered my passion for riding and trained in Dressage, forming unforgettable memories with an exceptional Dutch Warmblood.
It was during a pivotal moment, the day we buried my mother and emotions were raw, that Shanie came running out of her dog house on the family farm in Ohio. Shanie, my heart dog, was named in honor of my mother, symbolizing the enduring bond between us and the animals we cherish. Shortly after, I also welcomed Chastity, my beloved horse, into my world. They both are present in my logo.
Today, I reside with my four dogs—Gracie, Nellie, River, and Roody—and my cat, Loki, who bring boundless joy and companionship to my life. Chastity, my treasured horse, is lovingly cared for at a friend's house, where she continues to thrive and inspire me every day.
